Body development is never quite finished, but in the case of the new 1/8th truckbody by JConcepts, the Finnisher is a polished product. The winner of the 2016ROAR National Championship, the Finnisher body in the hands of Ryan Maifield isa proven racing commodity. JConcepts is here to support the 1/8th truck classwith a Finnisher body which is a drop fit on to the Tekno NT48.3 (Nitro) andET48.3 (Electric) racing trucks.
The #0301body incorporates pre-dimpled locations for the hottest truggies on thecircuit. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stancehighlight a performance oriented core. A wide front hood scoop allows plenty ofclearance for the unique Tekno NT48.3 | ET48.3 shock geometry. The bodyincorporates a large center fin which begins on the roof line and finishes justpast the half-way point on the bed. Extended front chin spoiler,headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flightwhile the supplied decals stand-out like an 18 wheeler.
The Finnisherhas a built-in air escape passage on the roof which allows the customer tofine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The new body includeschampion rear name plates which provide additional high-speed stability andimproved positioning of the rear bed rails to strengthen the assembly. Overallhandling has been improved by balancing the bias between the cab location andrear wing placement which control the majority of the aero affects of theaggressively styled body.
