FINISH-CURE 20 min. epoxy is a low-odor substitute for polyester resins. It's great for applying fiberglass cloth to wood or as a surface ready for primer and paint. FINISH-CURE is easily sanded and ideal for sheeting foam core wings. Allow 8 hours for full curing. For best results, heat FINISH-CURE to above 85°F or, when applying lightweight fiberglass, lay cloth on balsa first, then brush on FINISH-CURE. Heat and squeegee off excess epoxy for a lightweight finish. For temperatures below 70°F, use a heat gun on the surface several times for the next 2 hours. When dry, sand and fill with a lightweight spackling compound for a smooth finish ready for primer. For heavy fiberglass, apply epoxy before and after laying down the cloth. FINISH-CURE is best mixed in a disposable cup.

FINISH-CURE is an excellent substitute for polyester finishing resins, primarily used for coating and finishing. It's not a structural epoxy. Use it for applying cloth to wood or sheeting foam wings.
When mixed in a cup, the working time is 20 minutes; in thin layers, it's approximately 40 minutes.
THE FINISH AREA MUST REMAIN ABOVE 75°F FOR 8 HOURS FOR PROPER CURE. If below 75°F, heat FINISH-CURE in the microwave for 20 seconds (less time for partial bottles). After applying, use a heat gun occasionally or cover the project to maintain a higher temperature.
For lighter fiberglass, brush FINISH-CURE through the cloth. For heavier cloth, apply epoxy on the surface first, then brush FINISH-CURE through the cloth. When sheeting foam wings, apply FINISH-CURE to the wood, not the foam. Acetone and isopropyl alcohol are the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy.
